YUMEJI NINGYO

During the Taisho era (1912-1926), a democratic movement heightened and popular culture surged. It was a short but romantic time. Yumeji Takehisa (1884-1934) was a successful lyrical poet and painter although there were rumors about his love affairs. The story attempts to explain the mystery of Yumeji’s making of his dolls.
