Step-by-step support for the filmmakers of the future.
Because the Festival’s success is based on both the artistic and professional aspects of its Official Selection and Marché du Film, the Cinéma de Demain support programme focuses on both fostering creativity and helping participants forge ties with industry.
The Residence
Two sessions per year. 12 filmmakers from around the world. Personalised screenwriting support for a first or second feature film, and group support via meetings with industry experts — all in the heart of Paris!
Creative programs
A tailor-made support on the international scale for emerging talents with projects at any stage of development.
The Focus SCRIPT builds bonds with Visual Arts & Film Schools. Innovative young talents with a strong artistic vision benefit from targeted feedbacks and boost the production process of their short film in development.
The Focus WiP scheme presents short films currently in (post-)production to key industry decision-makers — distributors, festival programmers, institutions, film funds, producers and buyers.
Since 2018, the Focus COPRO' shines a light on filmmakers who already have an impact on today’s cinema with their shorts, and supports them in the presentation of their debut feature film projects to the industry's key players.
